ABSTRACT GUIDELINES
Abstract submission is integrated with the registration process. Kindly complete your online registration and submit your abstract simultaneously.
GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION :
  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-author(s) are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
  • Abstract previously presented or published will not be accepted.
  • Multiple submissions are permitted; if selected only one oral presentation will be allowed.
  • Only the standard abbreviations will be acceptable, uncommon abbreviation must be put in parenthesis the first time it appears in the text.
  • Registration at the time of submission is not mandatory. However, once the abstract is accepted and informed the presenting author must register for the conference within 5 days.
  • NOTE: If the registration fees prevailing at that date. If the author fails to register within that time frame, the abstract will not be considered for presentation.
  • E-posters will be displayed on electronic screens. Please follow separate guidelines for the e-poster.
  • Deadline for abstract submission is 15th May 2026
  • PG students need to upload “Bonafide Certificate” with the abstracts.
SPECIFICATIONS FOR E-POSTER PRESENTATIONS
  • The E-poster will be displayed on a standard 42″ LCD.
  • File format should be PowerPoint (.PPT/.PPTX)
  • The total size of the presentation should not exceed 5 MB.
  • 1 slide per poster only.
  • The slide should be in the provided template.
  • Animation/movies/sounds will not be supported; please submit in a static required template format only
  • Last date for submission of e-poster is 15th May 2026
DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
  • The E-poster needs to be created as per the given format.
  • Presenter Name, Poster Title & e-poster Number should be placed in a title placeholder.
  • Case study presentation must include Introduction, Aim & Objectives, Background, Case, Conclusion/ Clinical Relevance.
  • Case report presentation must include Introduction, Aim & Objectives, Materials & Methods, Results, Conclusion.
  • The poster should be self-explanatory. The text should be brief and well organized.
  • It is suggested that the font size of the text should be at least 14 points. The typeface chosen should be a simple and clear one (e.g., Helvetica/Times New Roman)
GUIDELINES FOR PAPER PRESENTATION
  • Abstract should not be more than 280 words.
  • Abstract should be formatted in MS Word; Times New Roman Font and Font size 12 Pt.
  • Abstract should be under the following Headings – Title, Presenting Author, Aim, Methodology, Results and Conclusions.
  • The presenter will have to present the paper in person at the ISACON 2026.
  • Papers should be based on original work of the presenter or from the member of the team.
  • The presenter should not have any objection to the publication of the paper in The Journal of Laryngology and Voice in part or full at the discretion of the editorial Board.
